HOUSE DRESSING

Ingredients

½  tsp honey

1 tsp Dijon mustard

¼ C Red Wine Vinegar

½ C Vegetable Oil

½ tsp Dried Basil

½ tsp Dried Oregano

½ tsp Garlic Powder

S&P to taste

This vinaigrette is a sleeper and super simple. She's reminiscent of the Bottomless House Salad at the Olive Garden or the side salad at your favorite red sauce spot. That classic crunchy salad with a bright, easy dressing coated just right.

In a small mixing bowl, combine honey, dijon mustard, and red wine vinegar and whisk to fully combine. Slowly drizzle the vegetable oil in, whisking hard the whole time to get everything to emulsify. Add dried herbs, garlic powder, and salt and pepper to taste.

Store it in the fridge in an airtight container, and give it a hard shake anytime you want to use it. It helps to let the dressing temper a little when you want to use it to loosen it up.

When serving, there’s no need to go too hard on the salad itself. Crunchy lettuce, cucumbers, tomatoes, red onion, a little green pepper, black olives if you want to commit to the bit, and some crunchy croutons tossed in this dressing will take you right where you need to go. Say when on the parm.
